If you’re looking to rent a property you’ll need a range of documentation for our property management team to support your application. The reason we require this documentation is two-fold, firstly to ensure your prospective property is suitable for your needs and secondly to abide by the requirements of the RTA.

When applying for a rental, we will request the following documentation including:

  • Verification of employment & income
  • Reference from employer and personal reference
  • Photo identification
  • Three personal references
  • Last gas/electricity/phone bill or rates notice

Once your rental has been approved, you will want to arrange a few things ahead of your move date:

  • Completed and copied condition report
  • Receipts for rent amount  
  • Photocopies of property keys and remote controls
  • Valid copy of the tenancy agreement & bond lodgement form
  • Any supporting documents from the agency including emergency numbers

Our property management team will arrange periodic inspection of the property to ensure it is being well cared for. You’ll be made well aware that an inspection will be taking place via mail or by your agreed form of correspondence. During these routine inspections we invite you to provide any information on required maintenance or anything you wish to be made aware to the property owner. Should any repairs or maintenance be required, we will arrange this and inform you of the details.

Any maintenance requests you have with your property will be dealt with promptly by our team.

Please immediately email any issues you have to us, describing the problem in detail, and using the maintenance form in our forms and checklists page.

Using the correct form and emailing it to our office ensures that we can send the request directly to our maintenance people, and also there is a record of all requests for any future reference

If you do have any changes in your home that may effect your tenancy agreement please contact the team at Brookview Property Management to discuss and update your agreement.
